Scott Technology Center (Data Center)

Financing, Development

In 2001, local civic leaders and philanthropists had a vision for Omaha to develop a technology and engineering entrepreneurial business community. By tapping the expertise and talent pool available at the Peter Kiewit Institute, the Suzanne and Walter Scott Foundation developed the Scott Technology Center to meet this need and achieve the vision of helping to grow Omaha technologically. The Scott Technology Center represents an environment optimized for the development and growth of technology-driven businesses. From the incubator program designed for the purpose of assisting entrepreneurs, to the heavily fortified and redundant data center designed to store business critical data, the Scott Technology Center has the programs and facilities to meet the ever changing needs of the information technology and engineering community.
