MCC l Academic Skills Center

Part of the Metropolitan Community College, Fort Omaha Campus expansion project, the Academic Skills Center (ASC) serves as the new “front door” to campus, providing a supportive, comprehensive new student experience that supports students through their time as members of the MCC community, so that greater numbers of these students will persist in their studies and succeed in reaching their postsecondary education and career goals. The ASC focuses on creating and inviting, collaborative environment that supports student engagement, learning and life success. Programming in the ASC is developed around career navigators, learning communities, developmental education, general education and active learning.
