Baxter Arena

This $90 million multi-use facility is home for the University of Nebraska Omaha’s hockey and volleyball programs. Situated south of Aksarben Village, Baxter Arena seats 7,800, with a separate ice rink for practice and community use. Split bowl seating allows for closing the top of the arena for smaller events. The facility has student, club and suite seating available, in addition to general sections. The facility assists UNO in recruiting the nation’s top student athletes and offers a full-spectrum student-life experience while enhancing the visibility of the UNO campus. Baxter Arena was completed in 2015.
